Instrument use
Abbe refractometer is an instrument that can measure the refractive index nD and average dispersion nF-nC of transparent, translucent liquids or solids (mainly for measuring transparent liquids). Refractive index nD within -70°C.
Refractive index and average dispersion are one of the important optical constants of substances, which can be used to understand the optical properties, purity, and dispersion size of substances. This instrument can measure the mass fraction (Brix) of sucrose solution (0-95%, equivalent to a refractive index of 1.333-1.531). Therefore, the instrument has a wide range of applications, and is one of the indispensable common equipment in the petroleum industry, oil industry, pharmaceutical industry, paint industry, daily chemical industry, sugar industry, geological survey and other related factories, schools and related scientific research units.
Instrument features:
Determination of the refractive index nD of liquid or solid and the percentage of dry solids in sugar water solution, namely Brix, using visual aiming, digital display reading, measuring hammer, temperature correction can be carried out, equipped with standard printing interface, can be directly printed out data.
